Global Mixers has launched a new worldwide dealer program that will expand the company's market reach for its line of volumetric concrete mixers, while offering customers a versatile, cost-efficient complement to traditional drum mixers. The company plans to add new dealers in North America and targeted locations across five additional continents by mid-2007.
In addition to sales and support, the Global Mixers dealers will be responsible for educating customers about the benefits of the innovative Global Mixers technology, as well as provide consultation, training and repair services to customers within their designated regions.
"By licensing the Global Mixers name to our dealers, we will be able to establish a stronger identity and create greater synergistic appeal for the Global Mixers brand around the world," Todd Caven, president and CEO, said.
Craven said that compared to traditional drum mixers, which need to interrupt production to travel back to the plant to refill, a key advantage of Global volumetric mixers is their ability to offer continuous production. This capability will prove especially beneficial to customers in congested areas throughout Europe, as well as in other geographically isolated areas around the world where a ready-mix plant is not readily accessible.
In addition, the modular design of the Global Mixers unit allows for repairs and change-out of parts to be made in the field very quickly, providing significant time and cost savings compared to traditional mixers and delivery equipment.
To help new dealers get up and running quickly, Global Mixers has secured a financing source that will provide flexible terms for qualified dealers.
